Niagara Falls, ON

about this project

As part of an outfall headwall repair project at this Niagara Falls facility, our team scanned the existing concrete headwalls and surrounding creek banks at Ponds A, B, and C. The point cloud data captured precise existing dimensions and deterioration of each structure, supporting repair design in a sensitive site location where repeat access is limited by terrain and environmental controls.

  • 3D scanning of existing outfall headwall structures across multiple pond locations
  • Documented concrete deterioration and existing dimensions to support repair design
  • Reduced the need for repeat site visits to an environmentally sensitive creek-side location

20 Hughson St S

Hamilton, ON

about this project

This project involved a new electrical room addition within a multi-storey commercial tower in downtown Hamilton, replacing aging switchgear in a tight below-grade space shared with fire protection equipment and building services. Before design began, our team 3D scanned the existing electrical room, access corridor, and surrounding structure to capture accurate dimensions, ceiling heights, and clearances around existing panels — letting the design proceed from real as-built conditions instead of relying on outdated drawings.

  • 3D scanning of an existing electrical room and access route ahead of a new electrical room addition
  • Captured existing switchgear, panel locations, and structural clearances for accurate design coordination
  • Reduced the need for repeat site visits in a constrained below-grade utility space

Shoreview at Riverside

Windsor, ON

about this project

At this Windsor multi-unit residential building, cracking observed in interior drywall raised concerns about possible movement in the building's exterior walls. Our team used 3D scanning to capture precise wall geometry throughout the affected units and above-ceiling structure, allowing us to check for out-of-plumb conditions and tilt in the exterior walls rather than relying on visual inspection alone. The resulting point cloud gave a measurable, building-wide picture of wall alignment to support our structural assessment.

  • 3D scanning deployed to investigate interior drywall cracking and its structural cause
  • Point cloud data used to check exterior walls for tilt and out-of-plumb movement
  • Captured structural and mechanical spaces above ceiling to support the broader condition assessment
